RepairCenter - Training solutions

DataMill, LLC has designed a comprehensive training solution for our RepairCenter® customers. Whether it is a New System Training event for our newest clients, or a customized training plan tailored to expand an organization's current capabilities, we have the ability to meet all your training needs. Our goal is to provide your program with every available tool to maximize your return on investment. We strive to assist our clients in every aspect of implementation and training to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.

Our standardized training program is divided into three 'echelons', each designed to address a specific training audience:

This is the basic operator training program designed to teach new users essential RepairCenter® skills. Targeting maintainers, supply technicians and other operators, Level One training provides the framework necessary to perform the core tasks of RepairCenter®. Upon completion of Level One training, the students will be able to:

»  Create and Edit Item Numbers in Inventory
»  Receive and Issue Stock from Inventory
»  Create a Maintenance Action (MA)
»  Update a Maintenance Action
»  Close a Maintenance Action
»  Create, Track and Close (Receive) a Shipment
»  Create and Edit Contacts
»  View, Print and Export Basic Reports

This is the advanced training program designed to teach more specialized RepairCenter® skills. This training program is designed for Calibration Lab personnel, Warehouse Managers, Auditors, Suppliers and Supply Supervisors. Upon completion of Level Two training, the students will know how to:

»  Create, Issue and Track Calibration Items
»  Re-open Closed Maintenance Actions
»  Create, Manage and Close Modification Work Orders (MWO)
»  Perform Inventory Audit Functions
»  Create, Edit and Execute Custom Database Queries
»  Conduct Requisition/EDI Initiation/Approval Tasks
»  View, Print and Export Advanced Reports

This is the most advanced level of the standardized RepairCenter® training program. Level Three training is designed for Program Management Office personnel, RepairCenter® administrators, Commanders and other personnel designated as requiring proficiency in all back-end RepairCenter® tasks. Upon completion of Level Three training, the students can:

»  Create, Manage and Audit System User Access
»  Design and Implement System Security Templates
»  Change or Delete Item Numbers
»  Change or Delete Modifications
»  Perform Maintenance Action Audit Functions
»  Manage the RepairData portal
»  Reconcile Conflicts with Inventory Items
»  Create and Manage Custom View Templates
»  Create and Manage Maintenance Sites, Warehouses, and Vendors

In addition to our three standardized levels of training listed above, DataMill also provides a stand-alone Doctrine and Tactics Training (DTT) program for Program Management personnel, Commanders and senior DoD personnel involved in the implementation of the RepairCenter® system. Designed in accordance with Army TRADOC Regulation 350-70, the RepairCenter® DTT assists Program Management by identifying:

»  Changes in current doctrine or tactics, techniques, and procedures.
»  The complexity of the system's operation.
»  Any Changes to current organizations caused by the system.
»  The number of personnel to be trained.
»  Any anticipated resource constraints.
»  The overall training strategy for the new system or organization.
»  The available personnel to provide DTT.
»  Sustainment Training following DTT.

Additionally, the DTT:

»  Provides tactics, techniques, and procedures for operators through senior commanders.
»  Allows users to exploit the new capabilities of the system and improve combat effectiveness.
»  Includes how to provide and sustain training proficiency both during the fielding and the sustainment process of the system.

Beyond New System Training, we offer a variety of sustainment and ad-hoc training solutions to provide you with additional tools to capitalize on all aspects of your Program's RepairCenter® system. Some of our additional services include:

»  Training support contracts customized to provide sustainment training to your new personnel, at your site or ours;
»  On-call training and support via email, fax, telephone or web conference designed to improve individual performance in any RepairCenter task;
»  Subscription-based monthly newsletters with tips, tricks, product announcements and RepairCenter news;
»  Semi-annual training conferences providing professional, RepairData-certified instruction all clients;
»  Designing Level 1-3 Interactive Multimedia Instruction (IMI) created in accordance with MIL-HDBK-1379 for stand-alone or distributed refresher training;

Please note that expanded remote training support is priced either per training support call (per customer contact) or according to a flat-rate subscription. All training support is optional and will be contracted separately from RepairCenter® system pricing. Training is provided by DataMill, RepairData or a trusted training partner.
