Keep hitting the target with preventative maintenance

The Preventive Maintenance optional module of RepairData provides real-time and legacy preventive maintenance management.

The module performs creation, deletion, update, and reporting of preventative maintenance actions, assignment of interval, assignment to preventive maintenance items.

Once the preventive maintenance task has been established, you will then assign preventive maintenance item in the same fashion as you do when creating modification effectivity. Multiple task can be created and assign to same or different items.

Creation of multiple serial numbers effected is a snap. If numbers are consecutive or have the same gap, just enter the start and stop numbers with gap number and you can create hundreds of records in one step!

Set the start clock for each item. Once the task is activated, the system will interrogate every day and will send an e-mail stating a preventive maintenance task is due within the next X days.

The advance notification days are controlled by an entry by the administrator in the Preferences screen.
